Last Post: Prove me wrong, Stauber is a traitor
Next Post: History First
My last snow sculpture of 2025 was another Thanksgiving turkey sculpture hastily made but painted Greene. I was doing a lot of reading in November and December but I wasn’t posting much let alone my indifferent take on Trump’s not pardoning the Greene Turkey. So here’s that hastily constructed and painted tableau to set the tone:

I had broken my back six weeks earlier so this was my first test of snow shoveling. The snow fell the day before Thanksgiving. I conceived the image on the way home after listening to most of the first book in the new Revolutionary War series by Atkinson. Donald Trump was planning his Trump abominations for the 250th.

Having listened to the first of Atkinson’s Trilogy I requested volume 2 for Xmas. As I was finishing it I began working on a more monumental sculpture The Crossing of the Delaware. Once again my back did not give out.
Then Trump’s fascist fancy swarmed Minnesota and he got a Minnesota woman killed. That prompted a third sculpture for the Winter Season which led to Facebook appearances and snarky testosterone fueled ridicule.
Some young ladies appeared after flowers and candles graced my sculpture and asked to add a second murder victim’s name, Alex Pretti, to my memorial of Renee Good. I never got a picture of Renee with the Pretti sign which seems to have been removed.
The previous post about challenging a Trumper to disprove my contention that our Congressman is a traitor demonstrates my eagerness to call republicans out for sullying the party of Lincoln. I thought about that long and hard as I finished this sculpture.

I plan to file for Congress in June. Until then I will remain a theoretical candidate although I have a donation button on my old campaign webpage:Weltyforcongress.com
I hope to mail 200,000 letters to Eighth District voters telling them that this long standing Republican considers our Congressman a traitor. At 60 cents a letter for mailing and printing that’s a bit of cash. I’ll mail as many as I can.
I intend to round out this 250th year by filling in some shallow portions of my American history that Trump is ignorant of and indifferent to and rallying republicans across Red America to poison our history lessons. Reading his appraisal of the brilliant Bad Bunny half time show while his pedophile lyric writer Kid Rock participates in a Trump alternative to Bad Bunny sets my brain on fire.
Here’s Kid Rock lyric for you that my disgusted grandsons told me about Cool Daddy Cool:
“On my cellphone I’m paid, G, can’t call me, just page me,” he sings. “Young ladies, young ladies, I like ’em underage, see. Some say that’s statutory / But I say it’s mandatory / My story ain’t that complex, two forties and a Rolex.” Vote Stauber!!!!!!
