In Don We Trust

Yesterday after Church at Perkins and digging into a stack of blueberry pancakes I checked a news flash that buzzed on my cell phone. Trump’s Truth Social had just accused Minnesota’s Governor Walz of orchestrating the murder of our State Senate’s minority leader. I began to snarl as Claudia told me to keep it to myself because it was Sunday and getting upset over Trump in the news was not good. I zipped my lips.

Last night as I stewed over President (Mister only losers get drafted) Trump entangling us in Venezuela and The Boy Scout Oaf”>posted about it I came up with another image to create because there was a story about the new Trump Sesquicentennial coin with his Big Brother visage on it. It was yet another illegal act like committing a war act without Congressional approval. Voila, my money making idea for a Congressional Campaign. Special pee cups ready for numismatists to put their new Trump Dollar in after they buy one or maybe two. They can put the first one in storage untouched to keep safe and the other in a pee cup to show how they feel about our president pissing on our Democracy. Frankly, a no longer unblemished coin documented to have spent time in urine might be worth considerably more.

Minnesota’s Governor has just announced he will not run for a third term. I’m glad. Walz has integrity and class. My wife just passed on the news thinking I hadn’t heard the news about his departure. (I had) She added in disgust that Trump had passed on the calumny that Walz had a hand in the Minnesota assassination. She added that Truth Social Disease didn’t even spell the assassinated victim’s name right. I told my better half that this was the news flash she hadn’t wanted me to spoil our breakfast with yesterday.
