For the first time in a couple years I dug into my blog stats. I would do this regularly for years after I first started blogging and before that with my old website (now an antique I keep paying to remain on the net) www.snowbizz.com
I was pleased. One key indicator I always looked at was how many people spent thirty minutes or more perusing my blog and its 15 million words (that’s a conservative guess) I have a category called blog stats in olden days I often commented on how many people were looking at this blog. In the two weeks of August a very positive 598 people (non bot visitors) have spent over an hour on lincolndemocrat. Not quite 70 spent half an hour.
I’ve always looked with some dread at the bot visitors. Most are harmless but the Russians who once were powerhouses have fallen behind. I got 75,865 bot visits from China over double Canada in visits but dwarfing everybody in GB gigabyte snooping. See below

Now that I’ve reestablished my link to the stats I’ll be more conscientious of trying to lure more people as I campaign for the School District and possibly later for a fifth stab at Congress.
First though is the Duluth School Board. And here are the four candidates from the DNT website:
All of us would be good members of the School Board although I will be encouraging people to cast a lone vote for me. Think my Mamdani Strategy for ranked choice voting in New York City. Whoever else is elected will be a good board member. I just think in this day and age I have talents, knowledge, as well as the piss and vinegar necessary to stick up for schools as Donald Trump destroys something he’s never experienced – American public schools.
If he had gone to a public school he might have learned something about Abe Lincoln. Just look how downcast Abe seems to be as Trump desecrates the Oval Office:
