Before I depart to dodge hurricanes and Florida heat

Like yesterday when my 50 minutes to post shrank at my wife’s behest to 35 minutes I have 45 minutes to post before I depart on a Sun Country bus for the Twin Cities and a flight to humidity hell. I love Florida’s winter weather. I haven’t been there in the summer since my eventual first paramour ogled me at age 18 and thought I looked like a dish which she kept her hands off of until I came of age. Yeah, I don’t sound like your typical buttoned up candidate for public office. Then again with the Michael Wolff revelation that Jeffery Epstein claimed to have had Melania before he passed her on to Donald Trump obviously Americans aren’t all that tied to traditional candidates. At least I’m brutally honest in my honesty compared to brutally dishonest in my honesty.

I just attempted to upload a photo of today’s chain or emails to myself again but my computer is taking its sweet time. So I’ll just cover a few of the things I’d share if I had the rest of the morning to add them to my blog….and by the way my better half suggests that we take a break from the Internet while we are in Florida. That’s not going to happen.

So here’s a taste of what I don’t have time to elaborate on from the notes and links to the News I read today:

Subject heading “Putin read art of the deal” referring, of course to Alaska where the Trump surrendered to Putin as though he were the melting ice damn at the Mendenhall glacier that threatens to inundate Juneau again this year.

And Putin who imprisoned his most serious opponent in jail after trying to poison him where he died assured Trump that any nation that let’s absentee ballots be cast by mail is not a free election. As Republicans service Trump Trump services Vladimir and I suspect there -is some leakage in Don’s gastrointestinal track allowing Putin’s semen to get into the GOP senators.

I will post the collage I made a year ago when I first began suggesting how GOP Senators had to abase themselves not to be primaried by the President. That way any children reading this will have to scroll down to the bottom to see the image I put on my Flickr account but have not had the temerity until now to put on my blog. Oh goody, I can hold off on that as I rediscovered a redacted version of my creation. Here it is:

I’ll skip the W Posts story about a little known African leader who has becomea Pan-African Hero but I’ll read that later myself. I’ll also skip the story analyzing the new AI powered Alexa but this one ties in with my comment a post or two ago about the 3 G’s of data Chinese tech bots have scoured from this blog. The subject heading is: From 200 to 5000 patents.

This refers to how in 2002 China had 18 clean energy patents and in 2022 it had 5,000. Donald Trumps attack on universities and his policies regarding China will only assure that we fall further behind China as it reves up its tech advancements. I have yet to read it but here’s the link:

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2025/08/14/climate/china-clean-energy-patents.html

David Brooks charge that California’s gerrymandering to counter Texas is defensible but dishonorable. To which I made this note:
“The only thing less honorable is letting the democracy rapists win by lying still and letting the rapist get it over quick”

I also have a subject heading that says Soldiers dies for our freedom but…

Americans are afraid to be embarrassed by losing an election and are letting people who have contempt for democracy to take over. If I am proud about anything its learning that losing an election is one way to honor our democracy

NO more time.
