An Email from the Trump mafia to me through his courier Pete Stauber

I am unable to format the email I received from Pete Stauber here the way it was formated but I can copy the text and I took pictures of the images. Following this email, below the request for money, I add my thoughts,

…Here and there… Washington actually gets something right, Harry!

…This week, I proudly voted YES for the Big Beautiful Bill!

…Do you support it? [in the email you can respond to a poll which will give Donald Trump and his munchkin Stauber info for future campaigns]

…YES! I Support The Big Beautiful Bill << ...This bill means more money in your pocket, no federal tax on tips or overtime, and real border security that protects our communities. It supports law enforcement, strengthens our national defense, and gives American energy and manufacturing a much-needed boost. ...It’s the kind of legislation that helps families working overtime, the miners keeping our lights on, the officers protecting our streets, and all the other folks who support our way of life. ...Do you support the Big Beautiful Bill? YES!
…NO.

I’m proud to be your voice in Congress.

…Thank you,
…Pete Stauber

Harry’s observations

Stauber like all Congressional and Senate Republicans is kept on a short leash. The RNC the Republican National Committee is no longer Republican except in Name. It is an inmate in the Trump jail. The verbiage has all been crafted by the DOGE-like acolytes of Trump Inc. as is the financial request. All Congressmen and women who want to stay on Trump’s good side are required to share a significant amount of their donations to Trump. I wouldn’t be surprised if to get them from Trump they must ask for it even though the email looks like the request comes from them. Good little congressmen will get their share. Bad ones. No way!

The only thing that really comes from Stauber is the insert with his family picture. Note that he sticks with his political mantra about “our way of life.”

Pete Stauber’s campaign is 75% I’m with Trump. Its 25% Pete Stauber is a good guy. Note also his nice family, his wife’s role in our Iraq invasion and Pete’s service as a man in blue….police uniform that is not blue state.

Pete has won four straight elections as a Trumper. He deviated for ten minutes after Trump’s attempted overthrow of the government on January 6th, 2020 but he quickly fell into line along with the spineless majority of republicans. In siding with the pro governmental overthrow Trump They shat, one and all, on Lincoln’s statue like so many pigeons. Stauber has a lot of gall to call himself a nice guy! By the way one of the Olympics started with a massive pigeon release. As they were released in the hundreds if not thousands there was a cannonade and the birds spattered the poor world athletes below them in unison. That’s the Republican Congress today.

I will continue to carp at Congressman Stauber who, despite my vigorous criticism, was supported by an easy majority of the 8th District voters in four elections. They ratified his cowardice and made it law if not OK. Its not the first election I lost when right was on my side. But the voters are king not the candidates they elect. I hope in the next election they will take note of what Stauber’s acquiescence to Trump and what is has done to despoil the last hundred years of bipartisan nation building.

As in the previous four elections 2018, 2020, 2022, 2024 I will do nothing to imperil the democratic candidate should I choose to file in 2026. That means I will either run as a Republican or as a Democrat not an independent who would draw off anti-Stauber votes from a Democratic candidate. I have one brief year to suggest that this tactic of unity be followed elsewhere in the 2026 election. Why is this necessary?

Long before ranked choice voting can be enacted to weaken cultic Trumpers or bluer state legislatures could enact nonpartisan redistricting commissions or Cult states like Texas and Florida can be switched away from their Trumpy fever dream I the Democrats best tactic in dozens of close Congressional Districts is to cross over and primary Republican Trumpers. That is how the Lunatic fringe removed moderate Republicans. With Trump’s election to the Oval Office, he finished the job by chasing off the last of the leaders who would challenge him like Senators Flake, Corker and Rep. Lynn Cheney. There is no reason Democrats can’t do the same thing. In fact a quarter century ago Democrats did just that. When it appeared that Quistion (yes I mean Quist IAN) Republicans were about to dump moderate Republican Arnie Carlson from the Governor’s office they crossed over and joined old fashioned Republicans in the primary to remove a fanatic from the General election for Governor. The challenge is to educate Democrats who would feel a vote for a “republican” is akin to eating bugs for lunch. A Trump Republican yes, they wear maggat hats. But in the short time I spent as a Democrat I was heartened to find that Abraham Lincoln carried far more historical weight in Democratic circles than Abe did with Republicans who treat honest history as “woke.”

As before I will run as a “Lincoln Republican”. So too could other people either independents or even democrats. However, great care should be taken in finding someone who is clearly a centrist and bipartisan. That would appeal to rational Republicans who want the Grand Old Party back in good hands.

I wrote a book….a sort of biography….to raise money for my last campaign. With a year ahead of me I could actually use it to raise some money and get my message out. I’ve been licking my chops since I predicted Trump was the GOP’s future in 1992 to return Lincoln to the center of what used to be called the Party of Lincoln. I’ve had my fill of the trolls, grifters. lunatic fringe and other assorted phonies etc. How dare these pigeons with their diarrhea carjack Abe.
