The absence of posts

The absence of posts here has nothing to do with nothing happening.

I’ve actually had quite a number of alerts that have been worth commenting on. But, I’m barely scanning my email these days. I’m still recuperating. In my case the therapy involves doing two year’s worth of gardening work at my daughter’s home. You should see my poor swollen hands. I work very hard when new ideas for chapter headings keep intruding on my meditations.

I found a very interesting letter to the editor in the latest Reader Weekly. The Piedmont work has one neighbor worried about our children’s safety. Sorry, I don’t think they have a website for me to link to.

On Sunday after taking an elderly man home from church I stopped at Ordean and spent 45 minutes walking through the construction area. Its a small plot of land with a very big hole in it. I saw my first goldfinch of the year while I traipsed by the creek. I don’t envy the homeowners across the street when the high school opens up.

The JCI inspired St. Louis County school plan is a growing fiasco with an attempt to split the school district in two. I’ve had a half dozen stories on this from the Timberjay emailed to me. Here’s the latest. I’m sorry to say I’ve not yet fully read or linked to them. What a shame. Or should that be sham?
