WiFi in I

The teeny Village Motel, in Eldora, Iowa, has WiFi so I can do a bit of posting. It also means I can listen to National Public Radio’s Weekend Addition. We’re here in Central Iowa to help celebrate Claudia’s Aunt Erma’s 90th birthday party.

I’m under orders not to mention my spouse but, of course, I’m a politician who unlike all others can not help but tell the truth. I’m drawn to it like a moth to the flame.

That doesn’t guarantee that my readers get it right though. At two 100 year birthday parties for Minnesota Power last week several readers of this blog or people passing on second hand rumors from it asked Claudia about her retirement next year and her plans for seminary.  Well, the plans for the seminary aren’t that imminent. Retirement is a few years off yet. Glad there is Wifi here in Iowa to get that word out.
