Saturday’s Budgeteer had a Virgil Swing column I’d love to link to but it’s not in the DNT website. Virgil simply noticed that the Duluth School District managed to lose students this year to rather than gain a whole bunch of them. Virgil used to be one the Trib’s editors. Those old timey newsman had a nose for news that the young sprouts could learn a thing or two from.
