Next Post: Getting to know myself
The last thirty days seemed very full but I’ve posted naught since October 8th.
What brought me to my office and computer was an idea that would be outlandish if it wasn’t me that had it. My thinking that planning to file as a Democrat two years from now for Congress is what would be expected of me. Except for this year I did so four straight elections. In fact this year I started the year thinking I should do it. I even went to the first forum of seven or eight ambitious candidates and announced I was ready to change parties. I sat next to the eventual Democratic candidate Trina Swanson who even then struck me as the most serious candidate. If she had had a visible campaign she probably would have been one more winner. Maybe she will try it again. If so she could use a candidate like me to force voters to pay attention to her. BTW my idea at this return to the blog is a little different. I’d run for the DFL nomination as a Republican advertising that my kind of republicans ought to be voting for candidates like me that were called RINOs by the people who betrayed Ronald Reagan’s “11th commandment.” It is: Thou shall speak no ill of a fellow Republican.
BTW I’ve spoken ill of the people who abaondoned Reagan and created a party waiting for a Donald Trump to contaminate Christianity and the Founding Father’s dream and Lincoln’s legacy.
I have a year and a half to think about this and remember how old I am and that’s good. I have a half dozen projects I don’t want to set aside to campaign for two straight years. Among them. 1 Write some books, 2 Keep studing French, 3 Take care of the church I’ve attended but refused to join for the last forty years. Push little libraries.
NOTE: I am going to start using AI to correct my posts. I just asked Chat GPT to correct the above but only for mistakes. After it did I asked it to underline the mistakes. This is the result:

I will also be using AI to transtlate my posts into French. Rather than use my hasty mistake prone typing I’ll use the AI corrected version. BTW. I copied the underlines (sous titres in French) but the underlines didn’t copy. My errors were mostly spelling. There was a missing apostrophe but I didn’t wanted corrections of fact which I would ask for if I was to publish this in print.
