This is from Clinton economic advisor Robert Reich on a Bluesky post

My only shot at raising a couple hundred thousand dollars is by some viral success. I’ve known this or its equivelent before over the last thirty years. My sculpture of Bill Clinton made every local CBS stations news affiliate they year not long after he was elected. I have a grainy copy of the piece here.

Later when I added a saxaphone people sent me news and a few front pages of newspapers around the nation with a reprint of a DNT photo of a woman snapping a photo of my sculpture. An editor of the News Tribune sent me this page 2 he found in the Indianapolis Star dated Feb. 14, 1993.

Then there was my only mention on the Howard Stern show after a local TV news station reported that my sticking a pin in a voodoo doll was putting a curse on Duluth teachers.

That story here.

Most recently this poignant and heart felt snow sculpture showed up in hundreds of thousands of Facebook pages. DNT photographer Clinbt Austin took this photo.

Other attempts to catch people’s attention have not fared so well although in the city of Duluth I have had car horns honking their approval of my sculptures since 1987 when my daughter’s request that I build a snow dinosaur became a reality and a tradition.

I have a few columns that I think are every bit as worthy of a wider circulation than I have achieved on the Duluth Reader. Some of them are in the book I published and which can be ordered on Amazon either in book form or on Kindle. Not Your Usual Republican.

I wrote before I don’t think millions of dollars are necessary to win an election. People vote based on what makes sense to them. If Donald Trump makes sense to them he gets their vote. If he makes sense to them they will reelect a Republican Congress. Can someone who has criticized Donald Trump since 1992 get elected as a very contrartian Republican. I don’t have to tell you what most people think when they hear me make that case. It doesn’t matter. I’m still making it.
