Before I go on to point 4 (the listing order was arbitrary) I will just mention that while I am attending to 4 a painting crew will head to my house to paint my woodwork. I just replied to a text explaining what the work crew should expect when they arrive at my house in an hour should I be gone….I probably won’t be.
I am working with paints myself. I’m painting a mural in a grandson’s bedroom. It is replacing this mural which I painted for his older brother who shared this wall after the younger brother was out of his cradle. You can see it is being painted over by their mother.

I projected my mother’s illustration on the wall about the time she was placed in a memory care facility. She painted it for me in a never completed joint project to publish our work as a children’s book to be titled Harry’s Nap.
The younger son once cradled is now getting his driver’s permit. It was high time as the room is now solely for his occupancy to redecorate it in a more age appropriate way and an interest appropriate way. He has had a theatrical bent since this, his second, foray into theater. He’s the scarecrow:

I wrote a touching memory of my Mother’s passing which was connected to this production.
The theater now consumes his thoughts and I suggested painting a bunch of theater posters on his newly painted walls. He is out of town at a Presbyterian week with his brother, mother and grandmother. We settled on a single poster of a movie he says he’s watched 20 times. I’m making progress:

Meanwhile his older brother who is taken with movie production has worked for several months to co-present a class at this church gathering about the theology of the hideously violent series Breaking Bad. (I stopped watching it after the first or second episode) He’s watched it at least three times and I think Claudia watched it twice as they developed the curriculum for their five-day class. Fifteen people signed up and they are on their second class today. My grandson is preparing a surprise for them.
Claudia sent me a picture of him preparing bags of meth.

Don’t worry. He’s giving the Presbyterians rock candy.
