Let me blurt (type) this out before I forget it…..”Forgive them for they know not what they do.”
Good now I won’t forget another subject on my mind…..That’s the busy life of a not too retiring man. Always something else not to forget. And after doing the wordle in 3 and reading two of yesterday’s stories in the NYT which deserve mention in the blog I opened un unhappy email. I forgot something:
Mr. Welty,
Seeing that you did not complete the process (DFT commitment form) required for participation in the DFT screenings, we will not be including you in our screening process.

Mr. Welty,
Thank you for taking the time to fill out the form. Please remember to submit your Commitment Form (attached) by the 4:30 deadline on Friday.
Thank you,
Jim Olson
I can only assume Mr. Olson is right about my failing to return a questionnaire on line. I recall filling it out and thought I had pushed the send button. Somewhere I have the form I meant to send out printed out. Perhaps I meant to edit it and then forgot to complete the process. If so, as I wrote to Mr. Olson “my bad.” I added a sentence to the effect that I if elected I was looking forward to working with the union. What else could I say. If I find…AH. Found it:

It sure looks like I sent it in. That’s what it seems to say. I punched three ring binder holes in it for my records of this campaign. I took pictures of all four pages which I will shortly send to Mr. Olson in hopes the teachers will still interview me. In fact, I’ll do that now and upload this although I intend to come back and chat about the forgiveness and add some other things.
Here’s a screen shot of the attachments I added to my second email to Mr. Olson:
