The Waning of American Christianity

My Seminary graduate wife recently was amazed and revolted by this book which she took out of the Duluth Public Library. She recommended I immediately read its beginning about John Wayne and the evangelical church.

Well, this morning I found this review of “the surprise best seller” in the Washington Post.

So, I sent Claudia a link to the Post review and a link to a column I wrote in 2016 which I thought was appropriate even though she makes a habit of NOT reading anything I write. The column was titled: The Wayning of America.

It is not to be confused with my column Arizona Highways written in a similar vein.

About the author
