Nature keeps breaking into my garden

Here is the little gnome that is waiting for my strawberries. I’m trying to fence him out:

And he’s not alone. Some vicious geranium predators keep attacking our yard. Claudia has had to go out and yell at them a couple times already to chase them off. I wasn’t quick enough to get a very good snapshot the first time, just a bunch of legs under our Cedar trees. But this morning she alarmed a doe who was not eager to leave for reasons that you will be able to divine by watching the succession of photos I took of the encounter. For those in Duluth we live next to one of the busiest streets in Duluth, 21st Avenue E. Nothing stops these deer.

It was a happy ending for Bambi and mother. They got back together and my geraniums survived to live another day.
