Cassandra 3

I’ve written Cassandra 1, 2 and 3 in order so that you can read them as you scroll backward 3, 2 and 1.

The most important of the three is number 2 with its link to the Frank Bruni column about the woman who predicted our current pandemic catastrophe back in 1994. She predicts we will be suffering from it for 36 months not 12.

Cassandra 1 is the least important. It includes an email from a fellow who has crossed my red lines one too many times. That’s a shame but I have my limits. If he ever wanted to have a public debate with me or a zoom debate I’d meet him in a heart beat but email. No more.

Here is the last email I sent him two days ago:

You have a lot of gall calling yourself my friend and then describing my sex life with my wife. In almost 50 years of marriage I haven’t heard anyone say anything that crude to me. It’s just one more reason for me to hope for Trump’s humiliation in November.

I will consider every new email you send to me an extended middle finger and break it off before opening it. If I get another one I will not read it but post the one you just sent me and welcome my 8 loyal readers to offer their own critiques of your methods of persuasion.

Jimmy Saranpaa sent me two more emails after this. Please don’t take my suggestion and harass him. I think he’s a little unhinged.
