Blogger Falibility Warnings

The more I write. The more I mistake.

I’ll be amending factual errors as I discover them or as they are brought to my attention including two corrections today.

First, in this post about the Trib’s Ed reporter I got two facts wrong.

Second, in this post I incorrectly identified the City of Duluth/JCI project in which JCI’s sales pitch was too good to be true. As you can see from the previous post JCI inflated the savings from its work on the Steam Plant not its sale of automatic meter reading equipment to the City. (I did hear complaints about the automatic meter reading deal when it was consummated last year.)

I also low balled the loss to the city by reporting that JCI’s promises would cost Duluth $3 million when the City now believes it will lose over $4 million.
