The Trib’s story on how people are reacting to the blithering idiocy of prematurely closing schools to rush the Red Plan includes this nonsense:
Judy Seliga-Punyko, another board member in attendance, reminded people that the board did not want to make any of these cuts but that inadequate state funding has put districts across the state in this position.
“Every district in the state is looking at what we are doing. [The Rochester school district] has to cut $10 million,†she said. “This is nothing we have created. The state has not funded education.â€
Give our children back the five million you “borrowed” from their classrooms to pay for the rapidly growing Red Plan’s construction.
