Allan Kehr is the first of our 14 legislative candidates to get his LDV questionnaire returned to us. Although Allan doesn’t mark “yes” to our question that he would reintroduce the Jaros legislation the effect of his written answer is a yes.
He explains:
“After reviewing HF 4127, I would prefer a total rewrite of subdivision 6. I find it confusing. While I may not prefer “the original Jaros legislation”, my goal is to guarantee that the voters of the duluth school district be given a binding referendum on the Red Plan or any other major overhaul of Duluth School facilities. before the project was allowed to continue.” He notes his campaign literature which says the same.”
We have one friend and 13 questionables. Allan is the Republican candidate for Mike Jaros’ district 7B
Its also true that the legislative language is confusing although all authorities that we consulted seemed confident it would do exactly what Mike said it would.
