At one point I was hell bent to ask the Mayoral candidates whether they thought we should be able to vote on the Red Plan. I figured it would be a no brainer and we could trumpet the results. I had heard that Bergson didn’t think it was any of the City’s business. Then I asked Meg Bye to sign the petition and she pretty much said she thought the School Board had every right to ignore voters. Of course, Charlie Bell sat on the committee that handed us the Red Plan. All I can think is good luck solving that City retiree health care crisis.
