I’ve just signed two pledges and faxed them to their respective organizations.
First I signed a pledge to fix social security on the basis of a fair bi-partisan solution.
A former Minnesota Congressman who I much admire, Tim Penny, has been championing the cause for www.forourgrandchildren.org
The second pledge called the “Punch Clock Agreement” asks congressional candidates to keep their daily congressional schedules available on the Internet so that meetings with lobbyists, constituents, and other public figures can be monitored.
Several hundred candidates have signed the former pledge but only about 70 of us have signed the latter.
