I suspect the Trib’s editors are looking forward to the day when they can stop defending the District over the Red Plan. At that point they can simply reiterate that we as a community can finally be grateful to our old School Board for their courageous decision to “move forward” with it.
here’s their latest:
Officials recalled in a meeting last week with the News Tribune, including with members of the editorial board, that those priorities included modern classrooms, green space and a drop-off area for buses that was separate and safely away from where parents drop off kids.
The priorities set early-on didn’t include hockey and ice rinks, they said, even if that’s all anyone is talking about now that the School Board, up against a tightening timeline, is getting ready to give final approval to plans.
