This Grand Forks Herald story attempts to explain which Democrats and which Republicans are doing well in different regions of the state. According to Ted Lovdahl, a State Senate candidate and GOP District Chairman, Mark Kennedy isn’t doing as well in areas of the Eighth District as Grams is. Those would be the parts of the District south and west of Duluth.
I’m at a loss to understand how Grams could be doing better than Kennedy since both are conservative Republicans. I can’t help but wonder if this comment isn’t a dig at Kennedy by a disgruntled Grams supporter who enjoys the thought that Kennedy, who had help freezing Grams out of the Senate race by Republican Poobahs, is fading in the polls.
Kennedy hardly needs enemies with friends like that.
