Duluth’s Mayor Herb Bergson just announced that he is not going to run for reelection so as to solve Duluth’s incredible pension mess even if he has to spill “blood on the table.” If this is true he may prove to be the most important Mayor in Duluth’s recent history even after serving only one term.
