I should sue Donald Trump for a trillion dollars.
Why do I say that to start a post about Trump’s gastrointestinal tract? Because his lawsuit against the BBC for damages for not mentioning one end of the news he emits really takes the cake. Any Brit who thinks he has a ten-million-dollar case let alone a 10-billion-dollar case is a stooge for Nigel Farage’s. He’s the ass who screwed the Brits out of the European Union while cheerleading for Donald Trump.
This is the NPR story from which I take the following passage.
“The episode seamlessly links Trump’s call for people to walk up to the Capitol with his exhortation nearly 55 minutes later: “And we fight, we fight like hell, and if you don’t fight like hell you don’t have a country anymore.”
Trump’s attorneys argue that the presentation gives viewers the impression that the president incited the violence that followed. They said his remarks had been doctored, not edited, and noted the omission of his statement that protesters would be “marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.””
What the BBC reported was the truth. It may not have been our courtroom’s “the whole truth” but when pressed by Trump’s crowd it quickly admitted it should have done better and apologized. In the pre-Trump era this would have been the end. But the pre-Trump era was an era when even Presidents were well advised to admit they had been wrong. Donald Trump has never admitted to being wrong even when he tried to execute innocent people. And his followers who skip regular news are fine with this. Its manly for a draft dodger to never admit to being a POS.
And Trump is asking for billions. Hell, he still hasn’t forked over the millions awarded to the woman he raped who sued him and won in court. So what the Supreme Court ruled that a president can, as Trump claimed on the stump in 2016 that he could shoot a man on fifth avenue and his supporters would still vote for him. So apparently, the justices of the United States Supreme Court would give the Prez a pass too if he plugged a tourist in New York until the end of his second term in 2028.
The Brits are in a tizzy over this lawsuit. The Farag loyalists want to string up the BBC. But the BBC simply took a page out of the Trump book. They didn’t tell the whole truth. They just told the truth or, in this case, a Trumpian half truth.
Trump told people to storm the capital and probably half of them didn’t hear the part that came out of his mouth – do it peacefully. No they rushed off after a president who was pissed off that security set up metal detectors to prevent concealed guns of the people his ass was exhorting to save “democracy.”
They went with their zip ties to string up the Congress and brandished hanging nooses at what Trump two now describes as a bunch of grandmother’s picnicking in the Capitol. It’s no longer a blot on our history.
And from which end of Trump’s gastrointestinal tract did Trump tell his followers to attack the Congress? Ask his Attorney General Pam Bondi.
