“the Weave” Trump’s not too demented way of hiding his dementia

To prepare yourself for this late blog post in my recently neglected Blog I recommend that you begin by
Googling pictures of Donald Trump with a Hitler mustache.

I have resisted calling Trump a fascist for the most part but as we get closer to the election two weeks from today Trump’s rhetoric make it harder and harder to avoid the analogy. Hitler called for a purer Germany and called people with slightly different backgrounds cockroaches. Hitler provoked violence to rally supporters leading them to burn down the German Congress and then promptly blamed the conflagration on his opponents. Hitler enlisted rich citizens enamored of his power and confident of the ease with which they might remove him once he got them closer to power. Trump….ditto…..ditto….dittoe. Is it any surprise that the man with metal in his dying head and given the Presidential medal of freedom, Rush Limbaugh, called the drones who listened to him hour after hour for thirty years called his fans “dittoheads?”

But the always penis obsessed Trump needs to explain away things like his ten minute wind up in Pennsylvania a couple days ago to embarrass the family of the late golf great Arnold Palmer by telling a Maga hatted crowd how all the other golfers in the shower rooms of golf courses were amazed at the gigantic size of Arnie’s member.

Trump’s juvenile fantasies and senile gibberish needs to be explained away and he has taken a useful story telling tool some people called the “weave” to do it claiming that psychologists are amazed with his proficiency.

The weave gets its name from the making of fabric on looms or with Kitting needles. I’ve never attempted to to that but I do practice my version of the weave in which many ideas are woven into a hopefully thoughtful message leading to somewhere other than a golf club’s shower room.

Stephen Colbert who I listened to for a year after Trump’s first win to console myself has caught my attention again after my mostly ignoring him for the last eight years offered up this fine bit of stand up recently.

SNL (Saturday Night Live for the uninitiated) has had a couple smart and funny cold opens recently. They are antidotes to, if not relief from, the question I’ve heard repeated several times. “How can she not be leading in the polls now?”

Even a Trump who begins his presidency with more evidence of dementia than Reagan displayed at the end of his last four years and with no let up in his calls to punish the people who tried to make him follow the law is the worst nightmare of the founding fathers. I expect it could happen and if he wins despite his lies with honest votes I’ll remain in America as a reminder that the democracy he want’s to dismantle for the grifters, satanists brownshirts is worth fighting for. I wish I’d been more successful at it with 620 plus posts I tried. If necessary I’ll try pushing it up a notch.

In my next post I will attempt a somewhat more rational Weave because its often how I wake up with a million thoughts in my head. If they are not a product of dementia they’re not necessarily bad.
