Being on the Republican rolls I get lots of nonsense or worse in my inbox. Pete Stauber’s campaign sends me lots of crap.
Below is this morning’s contribution to Civil War. Pete could be one of the boys at the plantation at the beginning of the movie version of Gone with the Wind itching to fight the Yankees. Bear in mind the missive below thanking me was not written by Pete. Its simply talking points pulled from a miasma of pro Trumpy money chasing blather.
The bottom line is that Pete Stauber’s sleep walking is Civil War enablement. He’s not an anti-democrat! Pete Stauber is anti-democratic as is the Republican party save for a few brave souls like the soon to be defeated Liz Cheney. They let the cult overtake the party and here’s Pete’s 2 cents:
Harry,
Last night, more than 51,000 Republicans went to the polls in the 8th congressional district to cast their ballot for my candidacy, delivering our highest primary election total yet. Last night’s turnout by conservatives in our part of Minnesota was incredible. In fact, Republicans out-voted Democrats in the 8th district primary elections for the first time in recent memory!
I want to express my gratitude and offer my heartfelt thanks.
Together, we are going to take back our country this fall. Together, we are going to stand up against the reckless spending, abolish the socialist policies that are crippling our economy, put an end to the war against American energy, publicly denounce the anti-law enforcement culture, and reject the wokeness from coastal elites that has launched an assault on every facet of our way of life.
It’s been an honor fighting for you in Congress and I will do all I can to earn your vote in November.
In my preceding post I explain what Pete Stauber’s objectives courtesy of a pre-primary mailing he sent me.
What Pete is doing to our Democracy isn’t much worse than what his politics have done to the gospel of Jesus.
I will spend my morning uprooting my lawnsigns and my afternoon sitting with a pal who had a seizure yesterday. Life goes on.
