Winnipeg, Iowa, Bathroom fix up and books

I don’t have anyone to take over the blog when I need to turn my attention elsewhere. I’ve passed on a few more Red Plan and JCI related groans in the past couple weeks. All the above and more have kept my fingers at bay. Two weeks ago I finally bowed to my darling’s long time desire that I strip the twenty year old wall paper off the bathroom walls and repaint them. I expected a couple days of work but two week’s later I finally wrapped it up. I’ll never wall paper again!

For Labor Day I also acceded to my Darling’s desire to escape the long UMD move-in week end and public boozing along 21st. Ave. We chose to revisit our honeymoon destination from 35 years ago Winnipeg. (Our actual honeymoon came a year late) This week end I’m in Iowa on the verge of a return to Duluth. Family business. I’ve brought a book on chemical elements along to read. Its one of many reference books I’ve purchased over the years and my son’s recent Chemistry classes prompted me to pick it up after he told me the world’s helium supply is going up in the air. It is. I’ve finished off a couple other books in the past month. I’ve passed on many fun posts that will never see the light of day.
