Two weeks late – Christmas Payback

I turned this in a week ahead of the XMas Reader but due to circumstances beyond my control it missed that issue and the paper New Year’s Issue. I was alerted that it made the New Year’s Online issue. I’ll take it.

The Online story misses the caption I sent to go under the image. It said something like: Papier mache version of Judge Morse’s House, “by George” AKA Georganne Welty

The column begins: In this Christmas Season of death, denial, and Donald and the tug-o-war between law, justice and decency I thought back to my family’s first Christmas in our new Minnesota home. Read the Rest.

Oh, and a point of vanity. I corrected the word “became” at the beginning to “become”. My correction was also left behind when my Christmas Story went to press.
