The lost schools

Today’s Trib also has the info on the progress at Ordean High and Grant Elementary School.

I was sent an email a few days ago by an angry local who described the former, Ordean, as looking like a “crackerjack box.”
I missed the sailor so I wasn’t sure the description was that apt but I also thought that the schools northern wall was, as Kent Worley explained years ago, disconcertingly close to Superior St.

Whatever benefits, if any, from this work together the projects have helped undermine the Central Hillside. So it was with pleasure I picked up a Hillsider today after my dental appointment while grabbing a coffee to find yet another endorsement of my campaign by Mike Jaros. That, the sunshine, and a few more (though not quite enough) donations in the mail are making this another good day for the Welty for Senate campaign.

Maybe there will be a surprise inside our new Cracker Jack High.
