Half hearted Mother’s Day

So half-hearted that after uploading the title I got distracted. Oh well. Even for Mothers its better late than never. And Claudia won’t be reading this anyway.

On Friday I did see a tiny mother’s day cake while shopping. We ate half of it that night so Claudia has something to look forward to later tonight.

When I found Claudia already up before I awoke this morning she already had the coffee ready. She mentioned that NPR had a story about the email I recently wrote a Not Eudora Column about. She told me that it had been estimated that they had already made a half million dollars from people who could figure out how to get bit coin dollars to the scammers.

Much of what she had heard was reflected in my musings about the scam. I offered Claudia a chance to read what I’d written. This is very rare. Claudia has made it a point not to read much of anything I’ve ever written. She agreed to see what I’d written which wasn’t much because 60% of my column was the email itself. She did however laugh at one line. It was her’s where I quoted her telling me I’d never be able to figure out how to access bit coin.

I did get to do one thing for Claudia today. I got to help her daughter who asked me if I’d send some photos of her growing up with her mother. I was happy to do that as I’ve taken copious photos through the years. I’ve grown so tiresome at asking family to pose that in one of them everybody in the picture bent over so that all I could photograph were their derrieres. I used my cell phone to go through our albums and found scads of precious pics of the two of them. Keely told me she was in tears as she put them into whatever she will be delivering to the back door later today. Good tears. I can’t wait to see what she’s done.

Happy Mothers day to all you Mothers out there. You too Claudia.
