Heaven and Earth aren’t the problem

I’m in Montevideo, Minnesota where the company that specializes in the sort of bonds needed to satisfy the Defense attorneys has its home. As I’ve raced around to sort out the details of the bond so as to satisfy all parties and all legal requirements a few questions lingered. I saw them in email messages and discussed them in phone calls. After getting lost in Montevideo (lousy Mapquest) and finding my way to the bond business I took the precious bond out of the envelope offered me and looked at it hard. I’m not bringing anything to Duluth for which there is the slightest doubt in my mind.

I’m staying in Montevideo tonight and will check on its language early tomorrow morning to make sure its not going to be ruled invalid. The taxpayer’s attorney, Craig Hunter, will be in his office at 8AM and we will go over the language will all parties so that I can drive home knowing no one can challenge us.

I didn’t pack a toothbrush or a change of cloths so I’ve got a little shopping to do. I’ve had a long drive today even though I expedited it a bit without getting pulled over. Tomorrow I’d like to stick to the speed limit. I should be home in plenty of time to present the bond to the Sixth District Court.

From the beginning of this fight for justice its really not the Heavens and Earth we’ve had a hard time moving. Its rules and bureaucracy and the people who can use the taxpayer’s money to find lawyers who will say that the rules mean things no one ever considered before. My daughter used to do that when she was five. She made up games and kept changing the rules to stay ahead.

She went into the wrong profession.

Compared to the law Heaven and Earth are pretty puny obstacles.
