Nevermind

I just learned an interesting story about one of the Lester Park homeowners who resisted selling his house but was eventually coerced into moving. (and hey, the District didn’t even resort to eminent domain) This homeowner had tried for years to get a permit to put in a driveway on his property but the City wouldn’t let them because the land was ecologically sensitive. But not so sensitive that the City objected to taking the entire house for a parking lot for the Red Plan including the sensitive driveway that was never approved.

Well, after buying the home the District has reconsidered and won’t be needing it after all. They are looking for someone to rent it.
