I’ve been busy since 4AM. Now that its almost midnight my brains not functioning too well. I have to be like old Avis Auto rental company that was always number two behind Hertz. I have to work harder.
But I’m taking a little break from the Red grind. UWS is putting on a play about an historical incident that I’m particularly interested in, the infamous 1920 lynching in Duluth. I’ve read Michael Fedo’s history about it twice. I’ve been planning on making the incident the kernel for a novel I’d like to write someday.
I got an email from Fourtrack films that a radio play was being cast so I skipped out on all this week’s Red Plan evening meetings to audition and rehearse. It will be preformed on Wisconsin Public Radio next Tuesday evening. I might pay 20 parts. Cool. Here’s the Playbill.
