The News Trib and its impartial reporting

This glowing puff piece on Roger Reinert published the day before the primary election in which he was a candidate demonstrates just how far the Duluth News Tribune has fallen as an unbiased news source.

Who couldn’t love a guy when his story begins:

“On a sunny morning in June, Roger Reinert started his day with a 7 a.m. breakfast for Grandma’s Marathon volunteers, followed by meetings with APEX and the Public Arts Commission. After a break for lunch, he was back at City Hall in the afternoon for committee meetings in advance of that night’s marathon City Council meeting, which didn’t end until after 11 p.m.”

Two days later they could report this: Reinert wins House 7B DFL primary
