I just looked at the Red Plan amortization tables.
It turns out the Red Plan didn’t cost just $435 million which is what our lawnsigns claimed five years ago or the $480 million I claimed in my campaign ads but $600 million. I’ll be rechecking my figures.
You can spend a lot of effort trying to shut me up about this but if you do you will simply be tarred and feathered as an apologist for the plan that crammed ten kids too many in our classrooms.Â
I won’t shut up and I hope that even your modest powers of political analysis will conclude that it is better to look at this disaster the way the NTSB looks at plane crashes than hope that it just goes away. It won’t. Neither will I.
