I spent the afternoon actually organizing the masses of paper that have paralyzed me for a month. I’m not sure which has been the bigger python – my clutter or Welty et al. There may be some news on the latter front soon. After all our trial is scheduled for next week in District Court. Meeting that date was rendered impossible some time ago when transcripts that were supposed to be sent to us by the Defense Counsel failed to materialize. Extenuating circumstances no doubt.
The job is only half done and when I wake up tomorrow I’ll have to keep my little Tan Man out of the debris which I moved to the living room in order to spread it out in a big enough space. I probably am working with close to 200 file folders if not more.
I skipped out on the candidate’s debates so I’ll have to check to see if the Trib has a blow by blow account of them online. As I was working on the final touches to the poster advertising my libelous book at news time I heard a familiar name on the broadcast.
It was Sandy Hoff of FI Salter Realty whose significant other has been pressuring folks to leave their homes but without the hammer that Eminent Domain would give her. Still, she has left some people with the impression that if they don’t sell they’ll regret it when they are the last ones left and the District leaves them hanging.
The Search function on this blog ought to turn up a couple posts about Ms. Hoff’s activities that I’ve recorded – libels all I’m sure.
Sandy was in a fifth grade class with kids all looking the other direction. He was there to teach the elementary students about the business world. He looked really snazzy in his suit. I doubt if he’s ever heard of casual Friday. He was able to praise the Red Plan and said that all the hubbub surrounding it was exciting. Its been good for home sales too.
