I knew that the DM&E was a big issue in southeastern Minnesota and may have helped Walz defeat Gutknecht but I’d never heard it described as a big pork project. I wonder if this new wrinkle in the debate helps explain why I heard that Senator Coleman has come out against the railroad. I’m so glad Klune defeated Tom Daschle two years ago so he can be another good Republican for fiscal responsibility.
