It took a while for it to engage but it only goes up to 10 additional feet of sea level. The melting of the Greenland ice sheet (which is a fraction of the size of Antarctica’s ice sheet) will raise ocean levels by 23 feet. No more Manhattan. No more Miami.

Some climatologists are saying the melting of Greenland may be irreversible.
