For those of you wondering what’s happened to bookin it posts I hope to resume publishing them by the end of the week. The old metaphor about the blind men groping at an elephant to figure out what it is is apt except that in my case I’m only one blind man. Heck, thirty years ago it was 20 FBI agents, 40 reporters and as many lawyers to come up empty.
I’ve explained in previous posts how I’ve spent so much time refining and organizing a variety of data. I have been working on one last collection – my hand written interview notes. I recently discovered another 150 pages of them, some of the best I’ve taken over the last six years. I’m cutting them up and filing the bits and pieces into subject related folders over the course of a thirty-year saga.
I should be finished with that process tomorrow. I’ll be curious to see how many pages of text I can start cranking out each day. I’d have been ready to resume booking it sooner but I’m on a mini vacation with my grandsons. They come first.
