How did Circle Pines become Coon Rapids?

I’ve gotten a correction. I know I’ve been saying for some time that Dr. Keith Dixon has gone on to Coon Rapids but apparently I’ve gotten my suburbs mixed up. Email from a friend:

I just googled Dixon and he serves the Centenial District, located in Anoka County, schools include
Blaine, Lino Lakes, Lexington, Centerville and Circle Pines.

If this is true then Coon Rapids is one lucky little community. I see that Blaine and Coon Rapids are kissing cousins. Hope he doesn’t rub off.
