I just read through the endless list of ideas, questions and wish lists that were compiled by various groups within the Duluth School System and larger community. It took a long time and despite a lot of redundancy it practically cries out for a savior. No Superintendent can hope to salve our wounds and save our schools without the help of the community. I hope our new superintendent can win over and deserve our trust. Honesty and humility will be critical. The honeymoon, if there is one, is likely to be short.
