A fair trade

Former School Board member Joan Peterson isn’t thrilled to have had the expanded East Parking lot impose on her back yard but compliments the District for its concern and helpfulness. She may have lost some beloved trees but with a junior high moving in she will now enjoy closed lunch periods and no high school students will crawl over the neighborhood at all hours of the day. They will now be crawling over the Ordean neighborhood as will the cars they drive to school. The trees will be replaced and the quiet will remain. Not a bad deal.
