Today’s update

As noted in yesterday’s post I drove down to see my Mother today. These visits pretty much use up my day but I did find the highway quiet enough to jot down several pages of notes that will accompany the mini book that I think I will publish in the next few weeks. Its far easier for me to do this than talk on a cell phone while I’m behind the wheel. I liked what I jotted down.

I liked what I found in the mail box upon my return even more. I didn’t even have time to peak into the envelope to see what was written on the checks when I was summoned to plant flowers in my daughter’s yard. Actually, I had already set the envelopes aside to hurry out back to turn my compost pile. That and watering keep the bacteria happy.

Composting almost makes me feel like a Duluth school board member.
