My Secret Weapon

As I was out front mowing the weeds (the grass hasn’t budged since last week) a car with a couple teenaged girls drove by. The rolled down the window as I paused to wave back at them and they shouted “We love your snowsculptures) It being a beautiful summer day I shouted back. “Thank you. I’m not in any hurry to make another one.” The young lady closest to the window gave me a thumbs up and a smile as she drove off.

Its not my sculptures that are a secret weapon. Its my Mother’s constant admonition that you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. As, I hope the video about me hawking my book suggests I have a pretty good sense of humor about myself and my ridiculous attempt to capture people’s interest. I much prefer honey. But as we’ve seen from our gold plated commode in the Oval Office sometimes we get Honey Wagons instead.
