I caucused with the DFL again last night

What today's Republicans think

I completely agree with the pundit Andrew Sullivan on his reaction to this poll of GOP thinking.

Last night I caucused for the third biennium in a row with the local Democrats. I still feel like a man without a country when I do this. But I approve of Barack Obama who is just the sort of reasonable human and rational political leader I’ve always looked for. I went to the DFL caucus as much to protect Obama from his Democratic critics as to keep my finger in the political world.

I haven’t changed much over the past 35 years I’ve waded in GOP politics. The wading pool has sure changed though with infotainer/Coughlinite radio and television thugs who cull the party of heretics like me who simply yearn for good governance.

In comparasion the self-righteous Democrats that I’ve always rolled my eyes at are merely insufferable.
