Guess what? The State’s acceptance of a Plan B referendum is one week old. The District got the letter from the Minnesota Department of Education seven days ago, last Friday.
Dr. Dixon was gone much of the week and no one would say where he was. He was probably lobbying like crazy to change the decision.
If the previous Superintendent, Dr. Almanza, had been sitting on news of this magnitude for a week the Duluth News Tribune would have strung him up. They would have had to wait in line though because the School Board would already have knotted the rope.
I wonder if any reporters will ask Dr. Dixon what he was doing all week?
