Leave our neighborhood alone

The West end neighbors who rallied to ask tough questions of Dr. Dixon at a well hidden “public” meeting have remained too quiet. Finally one neighbor has sent the Trib a letter to the editor hinting at the unhappiness of yet another Duluth neighborhood about the Red Plan. A sample:

One of my problems is the taking of houses. There is a man who lives across the street from me who is in his late 80s. He was born in that house. He has not known another. I see him outside, tending the yard, taking pride in his property. There are lots of families which will be affected by this. This is a good neighborhood, with most of the neighbors knowing each other. My family has lived here for going on three years now.
