The Book

On Common Sense the other day I mentioned my intention to publish a book on the Red Plan for all the older folks who haven’t got access to the Internet. I don’t have time to write the book as it should be written. By the time I got that done the Red Plan would be a fiat accompli. (that’s French for a done deal) Besides, only a fictionalized novel could really tell the truth of this misbegotten project.

This blog is already darned near as long as Gone with the Wind. My plan is simply to excerpt pertinent passages with a little retrospective commentary where appropriate. I know the JCI folks will cringe that I might give this out to their victims who can least afford their grandiose plans – poor folks on fixed incomes. Hey, maybe they’ll take Ralph Doty’s suggestion and sue me for liable. After all, the Red Plan lovers keep accusing me of spreading falsehoods.

But for those of you who have read this blog and want the general public to get the full picture of the Red Plan I could use some help. Let Duluth Vote is directing contributions to our legal challenges to the Red Plan and the School District. If, however, you’d like to send a little donation to help me publish this book (and I think I can start passing it out in about two weeks) Send Let Duluth Vote a check and write “for Harry’s book” in the memo. It might also be a good idea to include a note reminding our Treasurer to read the memo.

Those donations can be sent to: Let Duluth Vote, PO Box 3174, Duluth MN, 55803.
