Good afternoon,
I spent a chunk of time today going through each email I received on my school district account, and listing them on a spreadsheet. I only included those, because feedback from XXXXXXXXXX suggested XXX does not find Facebook a reliable source for opinions. I am honoring that with this data set.
As of 1:44pm, I have received 34 emails on the subject of whether to sell or not. The results are:
30 – sell
4 – don’t sell
I only actually “know” 1 respondent on the list of people who emailed me.
I did not include phone calls I have received. I have received 4 cell phone calls and 3 house phone calls. All were to sell.
My personal email included a few others. (less than 5, I don’t want to look that up right now) All sell.
On my personal facebook account (XXXXXX, skip this part haha), I have 11 friends who commented sell. I have zero that commented don’t sell. I only asked what should I vote to do. That was their responses. Many more “liked” my post, but you can’t tell what they want by “liking” it.
It was referenced that many more “don’t sell”‘s have been heard by other members. I would like to see their data. I want to know what other feedback people are getting, and I would like an official way to ID them. Just saying “I have had more don’t’s than sells” is not believable in this case, as I don’t know how that can be even close to possible.
My case in point (and bear with me XXXXXXX, lol) is former Mayor Ness posted his status on Facebook. It currently (as of 2:35pm) has over 2,000 likes, but more importantly, 216 comments. Rushing through them, I have YET TO SEE a comment saying don’t sell it.
I’m posting Ness’s post below. The link is provided so you can go look through the comments yourself.
The public’s vote is sell. This justifies my response of a 9:1 ratio of SELL from those I have heard from and sought out. Use this information as you wish. This email is not intended to make any statement of persuasion– only demonstrate provable opinions. If anyone knows where I can see more don’t sell opinions, I would welcome the opportunity!!!
