a Christmas Carol at the Zenith

Would that our “Scrooge” could also have a Christmas epiphany.

Their tale begins thusly:

“Once upon a time – of all the good days in the year, on Election Eve – old Scrooge Dixon sat busy at his desk in Old Central.

The door of his office was open that he might keep an eye upon his clerk, Taxpayer Cratchit.”
